Well that was fun, think the wing is the weakest part need to practice on things like that some more... and hair and eyes and generally I need to practice more on everything really. Still a fun picture to work on though.

WOW! Nice work! :D I really, really like the texture of your coloring style. It blends really nicely yet there is still painterly texture in there. I love her face best, I really like how the light hits her head and neck. You did wonderfully with the color choices too, I am defiantly sold on this for a skin tone, SOOO much better than white, (WTF was I thinking!?!?)

If you want some constructive suggestions to push it even farther, (which isn't a ploy to get even better art out of this, really I just like giving crits and feel sort of obligated in exchanged? LOL) here's a few things you could try if you wanted. These are unasked for so there's no obligation!

-Express the lineart's details a bit more. Anywhere there's a line you can use light and shadow to help bring it more to life, just keep shadows minimal if the larger area is in full light. You do it around the neck area, you could do the same at the lower part of her tummy (folds/anatomy), her right arm(folds), the inside of the wing (folds/texture) and the horns (texture). This depends very much on your taste, the line art can help do work for you or you can de-emphasize something by not supporting it with light/shade. EG, to camel toe or not to camel toe! XD

-Add some core shadows/reflected light. This may sound complicated but it's not. Since there is no background or secondary light source, let's assume the "white wall" reflects some white light. Add a subtle highlight along the back of her hip/thigh/back and the underside of her bicep. Her jawline and under the breasts are good places too. Now place a darker, thinner shadow just inside this and blend it into the larger shadow. (I actually paint these in the opposite order but it seems to make more sense to talk about them this way.)

A rough example, just look at the ball on the left and you can see what I mean: [link]

These are two cheap and easy ways to bring more life to your painting.

Also, if you wanted to bring out the details, I would shine up the gold in a few places and add some small shadows/blends to the white areas in her teeth, eyes and hair. (the upper lip casts a small shadow, they eyelip casts a small shadow, and white should be the "hot spot" highlight, so add some slightly darker color around the edges of that area.)

If this doesn't make sense and you'd rather have a visual example, I can probably do that. ^_^

Sorry, this got really long!!! XD XD XD
