Line art belongs to 
So in my mind the background is all dark with very little light and the ground has that cracked earth effect with the lava shining through which is why I (hopefully) gave it a under light source.
Then I remembered, I can't draw to save my life so although I can see the background through the power of my imagination I can't actually create it. Sad times.
